A Project Management learning workshop that will help technicians, technical research professionals and technical managers to take their planning and people skills to the next level. 

Course Description

This one day workshop looks at different types of project management; investigate how you can apply these to your technical projects and bring next level personal management skills to your team. This is aimed at those who have some project management experience and who have potentially already attended the Project Management for Technicians cohort programme or the one day intensive workshop.  

Learning outcomes

• Gain practical tools and techniques relevant to technical staff and settings. 

• Benefit from a blended approach of presentations, guest speakers, activities, theories, group discussions, sharing top tips between peers and self-reflection. 

• Explore project management principles relevant to the technical work environment. 

• Course content is rooted in the technical workplace; this is what differentiates it from other project management courses.

There will be 30 minutes of prework and reading before the session. This will be sent to you in advance of the session.

You will require a laptop with operational microphone and camera. This is a camera-on workshop. 

Digital certificates will be issued to all delegates completing the course.
