Description

Graduate transcripts can be ordered if you graduated or withdrew from the university after 2002. The document will confirm your final marks and your degree classification. If you left the university before graduating, it will show the marks for every module you completed. 

We can only send graduate transcripts to third parties, such as other universities or employers, on your behalf. You will need to provide the email address of the organisation that we're sending it to, or we won't be able to process your order.

If your new employer needs to verify your University of Nottingham degree, they can use the HEDD (Higher Education Degree Datacheck) service instead.

Orders are currently taking around 6 weeks to process.  

Please read before ordering

If you graduated after July 2020, you will have been emailed a transcript of your marks at the same time as your degree certificate. The email is from PremierCert+ and contains an option to share documents electronically with third parties. 

Medicine and Health Sciences graduates

BMBS or BMedSci graduate transcripts can be ordered here. Nursing, midwifery, or physiotherapy students need an additional transcript in order to work abroad. Please order that here.

Exchange student transcripts can be ordered here.

It will be necessary to place an order for each type of transcript that needs to be produced, for example if you studied both an undergraduate and a postgraduate degree.

Please do not order your graduate transcript until after the date of your graduation ceremony, we cannot produce this document until after your graduation date has passed. If you need a transcript before you have graduated, please order a provisional transcript.

Delivery options

Royal Mail - is free of charge and will be sent by standard 2nd class delivery in the UK or by airmail to overseas destinations, which may take several weeks. There is no tracking information available.  

International Tracked - tracked international post by airmail to overseas destinations. This option will incur a £10 fee at checkout. 

UK Tracked -  this option will incur a £5 fee at checkout.   

Courier - if you require an expedited service to overseas destinations, a fee of £30 will be added at checkout. Please note that we cannot deliver to PO Box addresses. 

Email delivery - please provide the name and email address of the organisation that you would like your document sent to; without this, we won't be able to process your order.  We cannot email transcripts directly to graduates or to any personal email addresses. 

World Evaluation Services (WES) - we have an agreement with WES for secure electronic transfer, which is a digital-only service, please select delivery by email to use this service, providing your WES Reference Number (a six-digit number beginning with a 6) on the order form instead of an email for delivery.

Provisional transcript (for current students)

Provisional transcript (for current students)

Description

You can buy a provisional transcript if you are a student of the university.  It will show you all of the results you have obtained so far, including a list of modules and marks, and it will be authenticated with a university stamp. 

Alternatively, you can see your modules and marks on Blue Castle, and you can download and print them out free of charge. This is a much quicker way for you to receive your transcript, and you can have it signed and stamped in a Student Service Centre if needed.

We can only send provisional transcripts for current students to third parties, such as other universities, on your behalf. You will need to provide the email address of the institution that we're sending it to, or we won't be able to process your order.

Orders are currently taking around 6 weeks to process.

Transcript Request for Study Abroad and Exchange Students

Description

This transcript request is ONLY for study abroad and exchange students who have studied at The University of Nottingham UK Campus for a part of your degree programme (one semester or one year) from another University.

We are offering the option for an electronic Provisional Transcript, this can be issued directly to the third party organisation requiring this document onlyWe are unable to email transcripts directly to students/leavers.

Please be aware that upon completion of your study period at Nottingham and once all debts to the University have been paid, an electronic copy of the official University of Nottingham transcript will be created for study abroad and exchange students and sent to your home university.

If you wish to order a paper copy of your transcript, we can provide these for a charge of £10.

If you studied at the University prior to 2000, we may not have a comprehensive set of your marks available for your study period.  If you think this is relevant to you, please email visiting-students@nottingham.ac.uk and we can produce a letter confirming your study dates and School/Department free of charge.

Email delivery - Please ensure that you include the full details of the organisation and email address of the third party organisation in your order.  The recipient details will then be verified via the organisation’s website, if the verification cannot be determined then this will be referred back to the originator of the order. 

We cannot email transcripts directly to yourself.
