This is a course aimed at providing the basic knowledge and understanding of the key principles of thoracic surgery, with a mix of lectures and practical sessions. Candidates will learn the key approaches of the thoracic cavity as well as some of the more commonly performed procedures in the thorax, such as a lung lobectomy and pericardiectomy.
