DescriptionWe are pleased to announce that the annual Materials for Medical Devices workshop (previously the Biomaterials Discovery workshop) will return in Nottingham for its sixth edition on 21st -22nd January 2025. The call for contributed talks and posters is now open. If you wish to present your research at the workshop, please submit your abstract by 29th November 2024.

More InformationThe Materials for Medical Devices workshop is part of the £4 million EPSRC Large Grant ‘Designing Bio-instructive materials for translation-ready medical devices’, and its aim is to promote discussion around the use novel materials in medical devices. Details of past meetings and speakers are available here On this occasion, the workshop will be a two-day meeting including world-leading international invitees and contributed speakers. The event is traditionally well attended by academic and industrial delegates, with opportunities for interactive sessions where informal discussions can arise and information can be transferred.
