The Pearls of Management of Exotic Diseases in Imported Pets

The Pearls of Management of Exotic Diseases in Imported Pets (10% discount for booking online)

Only in the last few years, several exotic parasitic and infectious diseases, including Linguatuliasis, Dirofilariasis, Brucellosis, some of which are zoonotic, have been reported in dogs and cats with unprecedented frequency in the UK. The recognition and treatment of companion animals suffering from exotic diseases can be quite complicated. UK-based veterinary professionals recognise the critical importance of accurately testing and effectively managing exotic infectious and parasitic diseases. The aim of this course is to provide the first practical guide to the management of exotic diseases in imported as well as local pets. The knowledge and practical skills that you will gain can be immediately applied to practice. The course will focus on hands-on learning; you'll practice key parasitology technical skills while being coached through the procedures by an experienced clinician and a parasitology specialist.
