Project Management Fundamentals: A Toolkit for Technicians

This technician-focussed workshop will introduce and refresh your understanding of Project Management and the associated tools, techniques and methods. 

Course Description

Most of the work that technicians do requires project management: when you create your teaching plans, when you are scoping out a new lab space and when you purchase new equipment and material. This one day intensive workshop will look at a number of project management principles, each of them chosen because they apply to technicians and their technical work environment.  

This workshop is aimed at technical staff who are new to project management, allowing them to develop skills amongst technical colleagues. Designed for technical professionals who have one, or more, packages of work to manage and deliver.

There will be 30 minutes of prework and reading before the session. This will be emailed to you along with your joining instructions.

You will require a laptop with operational microphone and camera. This is a camera-on workshop. 

Digital certificates will be issued to all those completing the course.
