A one-day interactive workshop for technical staff who would like to explore how they can be more proactive in their career development. 

Course Description

This one-day careers workshop includes four hours of small group activities on day one followed by two hours of one-to-one career coaching at a time to suit you.  Through practical tools and interactive exercises, we will help you identify proactive ways for you to develop your technical career as well as how to sell yourself in a competitive application process. 

Learning outcomes 

By the end of the course, you will be able to: 

• Evaluate proactive career development strategies and identify the right approach for you. 

• Apply effective CV, application and interview skills 

• Create a personal career development plan 

• Benefit from 2 x one to one 1-hour personal career coaching meetings
