The department of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Nottingham organises a series of workshops entitled Back to Basics in Language Teaching and Learning. Our third event focuses on assessment and will take place on 22 May 2025.

The session will start with an invited keynote speaker who will present on assessment, followed by discussion in groups about key points raised by the speaker. Afterwards there will be time dedicated to reflect on and discuss what and how we currently assess in our respective institutions and how we might design future assessment to enhance its purpose.
