Accessible Communication

Accessible Communication

Description

When communication is accessible, it is "easy to find and perceive, and it is related to the previous knowledge of the recipients, who may have various special communication needs" (Lindholm 2021). It is therefore a fundamental aspect of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of society. It is in this context that this conference intervenes, with theoretical and practical contributions related to accessible communication for the blind; for the d/Deaf or those with some hearing loss; for those with cognitive and intellectual disabilities; and for those with coordination difficulties.
