We started this event more than 10 years ago as a small single-day Barrett’s meeting and has now evolved to a whole 3-day course covering not only Barrett’s, but also all aspects of diagnostic and therapeutic Upper GI Endoscopy, with still a big focus on diagnosis and treatment of early Upper GI neoplasia.

 
As a result, the course is getting bigger and bigger every year and this time we are having our largest panel of national and international faculty, with nearly 30 Upper GI experts sharing their knowledge and expertise.

I think we have managed to put together a nice combination of start-of-the-art lectures and debates by the experts with some more practical sessions such as the MDT panel discussion, the “How to do“ Video Sessions and our popular Image & Video Quiz. For the last day we are keeping the very interactive sessions with case discussions in parallel to the and hands-on workshop with ex-vivo animal models. For the hands-on session will be a reduced number of places on offer, only for around 65 delegates, with the aim of keeping the session very interactive and allowing enough time for the hands-on experience.
