Graduation CeremoniesIf you have any issues purchasing tickets for Graduation Ceremonies, please contact the Graduation Team on 0115 951 5108 or graduation@nottingham.ac.uk. Guest tickets will not be posted prior to the ceremony. Graduands will be issued with the correct number of tickets when they arrive to register. If you are travelling separately please make arrangements to rendezvous with your graduand to collect your tickets. Graduation DVDsIf you have any issues purchasing a DVD, need to change your delivery details after purchase or require a refund, please contact the Graduation DVD Team by email: graduation-video@nottingham.ac.uk quoting your name and order number. International Office Trips & ExcursionsHow can I and where can I buy tickets? To purchase trip tickets, please visit The University of Nottingham Online Store. http://store.nottingham.ac.uk/ Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis until sold out. In order to purchase through the online store, you will be required to register and create an account. Please note that only the fields marked with a red * are required for your registration. If you have any issues registering your account or purchasing tickets for International Office trips, please contact Hong Sun on 0115 956 7094 or hong.sun@nottingham.ac.uk. How many tickets can I buy? One ticket per person will be available for purchase on all the International Office trips effective 1st February 2012. Tickets are only valid for the named person on the trip ticket. To board the coach, you will need to confirm your name by presenting your order receipt and your student id card/other photo identification. Can friends or other family members come on the trips? No, only students, staff, academic visitors and sponsored researchers at the University of Nottingham can come on the trips arranged by the International Office. Why am I no longer able to purchase tickets for my family? Our trips are primarily for the immediate University community. Due to the popularity of trips and the other International Office events offered to families, we are no longer able to offer tickets to family members. Should you wish to visit a destination in the UK with your family, the International Office can provide information on travel in the UK. Please email international-support@nottingham.ac.uk if you have further queries. Can you pick me up or drop me off at Jubilee/Sutton Bonington Campus? Pick ups can only be scheduled from University Park Campus. This makes the trips cheaper; multiple picks-ups cost more to arrange with the coach company. We also feel that having one pick up allows the trip to depart in a timely fashion. Normally, the drop off is a University Park only. In rare cases, on the day of the trip, if the driver is passing Jubilee he may agree to drop off there. This cannot be guaranteed. Do you make any profit from your trips? No, we do not make a profit. Our excursions remain popular and competitively priced because we split the cost of the coach (and sometimes the group ticket rate at places like Warwick Castle) between the number of available seats. What is your refund policy if I can't make the trip? The tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you cannot attend the trip after purchasing a ticket, you will not receive a refund. Tickets which have been re-sold will not be accepted. Please be aware that the coach leaves the university promptly at the advertised time and that any students who are late risk missing the trip and will not be issued a refund. (Last updated by the International Office, February 2012) Short CoursesPlease note that the online store currently only allows one short course to be booked and purchased at a time. If you wish to book on more than one short course, each booking has to be done in a separate transaction. In what currency are the prices displayed?All items are priced in pounds sterling (GBP). When you buy from us your credit/debit card company will automatically make any currency conversions for you. 3. How long will my order take to reach me?The length of time an order takes to reach its intended destination will depend on the location. UK orders will probably arrive within 7-14 days of dispatch, but overseas deliveries may take 2-3 weeks. 4. Why are some items marked collection only?Some items are very fragile and cannot be guaranteed to be delivered intact, please purchase online and then arrange a collection time with the Alumni Office which is located on B Floor, Portland Building, University Park. Please bring your email receipt as proof of purchase. 5. How do I cancel/return an order for refund or exchange?Customers have the right to cancel their order at any time before it is despatched, or within 14 days of receipt of the goods. This timescale is extended in the case of faulty goods, where an exchange or refund will be offered up to three months after receipt. To cancel an order, customers should notify Annita Myatt on +44 (0) 115 82 32406 (charged at standard UK rates) or via email alumni-shop@nottingham.ac.uk By law, customers may cancel orders without reason (within 7 days). However, if we know what went wrong we can use the feedback to improve our service. The University of Nottingham Online Store - UoN Memorabilia will do everything within its power to stop orders in transit, but should this be impossible (and in the case of goods already received), we would ask that the customer complete the returns form enclosed with the order, wrap the package securely and send the items to us (in their original condition) to the address below: Alumni RelationsThe University of NottinghamPortland BuildingUniversity ParkNottinghamNG7 2RDWe recommend that customers use a recorded-delivery service, for their own protection, since we cannot be responsible for any returned goods that are lost in the post, without proof of purchase. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.
