Self-Isolation Laundry Service DescriptionA laundry service is available to all students who are self-isolating in University managed accommodation. Laundry bags will be provided for you to leave your laundry in outside your room for collection. These will be returned clean and laundered back to your room.
Mesh Bags On your first order you will need to order a mesh laundry bag, these are large expanding 60cm x 80cm resusable mesh bags which your laundry will be washed in. Put your laundry inside the reusable mesh bag and then the plastic sack, ready for collection. Your clean laundry will be returned to you in the mesh bag, which you can use again next time you need the service. It's fine to order multiple bags if needed.
Laundry Service The laundry service includes delivery of clear plastic sacks to put your mesh bag in, the bag service wash, a double tumble dry (due to the clothes being in the net bag). The sacks will be delivered next working day (Mon- Fri). A member of staff from the Welcome Point will contact you to arrange collection from your room. The service is by the bag, if you need multiple bags please order as many as needed. You will need a mesh bag for each. Laundry will usually be returned within 24 hours from collection.
