Topics to be covered include:

• Biology, husbandry and hospitalisation
• Skin disease
• Gastrointestinal disease
• Urogenital disease
• Cardiorespiratory disease
• Anaesthesia and surgery techniques

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the course the delegates should have an understanding and ability in the following areas:

• Optimal husbandry requirements of the pet rabbit in the home and hospital
• The pathophysiology of skin, gastrointestinal, urogenital and cardiorespiratory disease and their management
• Confidently anaesthetise rabbits with a variety of protocols
• Understand the basic and some advanced surgical procedures in rabbits

This course is designed for veterinary surgeons with all levels of experience. Delegates are encouraged to discuss their own cases and open discussion is encouraged.
