This audit has been developed in response to Public Health England’s national catch-up campaign to increase MMR (measels, mumps and rubella) vaccination in children and teenagers.
Given the recent increased numbers of measels cases, PRIMIS has taken the unprecedented step of making the measels audit available to GP practices outside of full PRIMIS Hub membership.
The price of £60.00 includes VAT at 20% and is for one 12 month licence.
The primary target group identified by Public Health England is unvaccinated and partially vaccinated 10-16 year-olds. This PRIMIS audit tool helps practices to identify all patients who were not immunised as children and do not have a record of any adverse reaction to the vaccination. As well as the target group, the audit can identify patients up to the age of 18 who have previously refused vaccination or have only been partially vaccinated.
The tool has a mail merge facility that will help GP practices to send letters to those at risk, or their parents. NHS England have announced a payment for contacting parents with children aged between 10-16 years who need at least one dose of MMR and a payment for vaccination of patients aged 16 and over. It is anticipated that all eligible children will have been vaccinated by 1 September 2013, however this programme is effective until 31 March 2014.
The audit calculates the potential income that a practice can generate via the MMR catch up programme.
The MMR Recall audit tool is usually only available as part of full PRIMIS Hub membership. See 'Become a member' for more information.
If you are unable to purchase via card please email firstname.lastname@example.org and your order will be manually processed and invoiced.
