This three-day conference will take place from Friday 12th January 2018 at the Business School South on the Jubilee Campus.
Last booking date is 12noon on Friday 5th January 2018.
The aim of this three-day conference, organised through the ERC-funded 'Cultures of Occupation in Twentieth Century Asia (COTCA)' project, is to bring together scholars from a range of disciplines, backgrounds, and countries to explore the fundamental question which drives the COTCA project itself: ie, how does 'foreign occupation' (broadly defined) influence cultural expression?
Keynote Speaker is Mire Koikari from the University of Hawai'i.
