Andrea Haley is a dance practitioner specialising in dance with older people with limited mobility and/or dementia. She has delivered dance projects on both national and local levels. Andrea is Lead Dance Artist at Derby Royal Hospital where she works across the older adult rehab wards.
Andrea has delivered dance training for Derbyshire NHS, York NHS, CityArts Nottingham and as part of the dance degree programme at the University of Derby. She is also the Lead Dance Artist for the national Dance to Health programme and is completing her MA in Dance Movement Psychotherapy.
Fully Funded Bursaries
Thanks to Trent Dementia Services Development Centre, four fully funded bursaries are available. The deadline for applications is 1st September 2017.
To apply, please write up to 200 words making a case for your request for a bursary and stating how people with dementia would benefit if you attended the training.

The fee for the 2 day course is £150 which will include lunch and refreshments. Places are limited, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

You can ask the advice of the Gatehouse staff when you enter our campus. There are also disabled car parking spaces available.
You may cancel your place on this course and receive a full refund providing that you notify us in writing no later than 10 working days before the course start date. In addition, if you book within 10 working days of the course starting and need to cancel your place all fees will be refunded or cancelled providing you have not attended any of the course. If you wish to cancel your place you must put your request in writing to: email@example.com.
If you wish to cancel your booking within the 10 days prior to the course the following penalties apply:
If you cannot attend a course and you provide a substitute to take your place then no charge will be due.
